Pros

Good pay Some sales people are good to their merchandisers by keeping their backroom clean, but most aren't. Good luck finding the good ones.

Cons

Total double standards between merchandisers and sales. Merchandisers get blamed for everything, while sales can continually "drop and go" and "get talked to" with no punishment whatsoever. Zero work/life balance Sent to stores that are over an hour away instead of determining which merchandiser is the closest to the store that needs to be hit. Paranoia, managers are required to spy on merchandisers, at minimum, 15 times a week, and the store is picked at random. Required to go to weekly meetings that have absolutely zero information for merchandisers specifically. Co-workers that will fish for information to stab you in the back, to management.
