Business Outlook
Pros
Red hat offers free courses and certifications for all their tools they own. There is a plethora of information available on them as well as chat rooms to get help. Work with many very intelligent individuals daily. Compensation is good and stocks accrue.
Cons
Open is their motto and that’s the way they operate. Everyone has a say and no one is held accountable if projects miss deadlines or fail. Internal projects do not leverage the tools they own making it less intelligent than what they sell. Baffles me how the company does not operate with little technological intelligence when their products are advanced.
