Pros

Management takes the time to make sure I am learning, and I'm getting a lot of experience around executives and higher-ups.

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say

Pros

Lots of cool tech. Builds up resume quickly. Lots of cool problems to solve

Cons

Lots of travel. Don't spend hardly any time in the office. Client workplaces will vary and red hat management isn't always there to protect you. Heard that the pay isn't what it once was or what it is at other consulting companies but it's definitely enough to cover rent and student loans so that's all I cared about.

Pros

Fantastic culture and open organisation. Red Hat is growing and had become a large company while maintaining it's core values and dedicated to open source. With a flexible and good work life balance and the opportunity to work from home, Red Hat is really a great place to be.

Cons

Although most of the time it isn't a problem, sometimes the company can feel a bit big. As a remote employee it is hard to get to know people, but when there are several thousand around the world this can be even trickier.
