Pros

- Very smart people - Free software and openness culture still prevalent - Usually a great amount of trust and freedom is put into individual employees - Most of the time the meritocracy really works - memo-list !

Cons

- Clueless external hired QE director, bringing a suite of clueless people with him from his previous company, forming an inner circle of privileged managers. These people do not give a damn about RH culture. Several really harmful decisions have been made, and were not reconsidered even after it clearly showed they were mistakes. These projects still pretend to continue because nobody can admit a mistake.

Pros

My managers were amazing and people I now call friends. The work I got to do was hands on, real world stuff.

Cons

For a tech company they didn't really encourage innovation.
