      Amazing, inclusive corporate culture. Management is receptive to new ideas at all levels. The whole company lives the open-source philosophy Red Hat has a very low employee turnover rate Highly supportive corporate culture Many opportunities to advance Nature of open-source makes it possible to grow your career publicly

      Pros

      Collaboration is encouraged in all areas of the organization. There is a strong team work principle to win and help each other get better.

      Cons

      Larger competitors always putting pressure on the organization as a whole which resonates down to all employees. The pressure can be high on everyone regardless of role.

      Pros

      The internal culture at Red Hat is incredibly open and diverse. It is not uncommon to see engineers and "workers" openly criticize management when they feel that a poor decision has been made. Reliable financials and internal movement means you will never worry about losing your job. Amazing coworkers and frequently amazing managers.

      Cons

      Lack of driving technical vision. Overly conservative investment strategy from senior management when it comes to diversifying the product portfolio or being creative in penetrating new markets or driving deeper into existing markets. (This falls into the "it aint broke, dont fix it" category of business management and Red Hat excels at it - for better or worse)
