Pros

Fun place to work, fantastic challenges and good culture.

Cons

Push to promote or hire because of D&I initiatives seem too heavy handed and artificial.

Pros

Red Hat has a strong mission, stable operating model, and strongly supports its employees. Red Hat's CEO is candid and direct while maintaining focus on Red Hat's future success. Red Hat is the best company I have worked for.

Cons

There are pockets of the company that do not share the overall cultural goals. Some areas have leadership misalignment and feint the meritocracy mindset.

Pros

Very friendly culture, very smart people, excellent management practices, fun and exciting

Cons

It still feels a bit like a start up, and not always in a good way. There are things that should be fixed by now that have been neglected. Strong growth masks a lot of problems. This includes some people that have been there for a long time that would not be able to get the jobs that they have currently if they had to interview for them
