You're really working for IBM now.

Pros

Pay is OK. Still some really great people there. Good products the market still wants.

Cons

You're really working for IBM now. If that appeals to you, great. You will be happy. If you wanted to work for the old Red Hat with it's entrepreneurial spirit and focus on collaboration and "us vs. the world", that is long gone. Most of senior management has been replaced by IBMers and others from large tech companies.

Pros

1st and 2nd line leadership is solid and there are plenty of good people that are motivated to help each other.

Cons

Sr leadership doesn't care about field. Quota's are out of whack and the company regulary withholds commissions on large deals.

Pros

The company tries to create a healthy employee culture

Cons

After 5 years, you get pretty disillusioned here because leadership is toxic and gaslights you
