Pros

Good snacks, little oversight. First 6 months I didn't have any assignments and just took free online certification courses.

Cons

They charged their clients a senior consultant rate for us and pocketed the difference. Clients were often not ready for implementation when we got there, a lot of sitting around waiting for clients to get the necessary authorization to install software.

Pros

Decent comp, and decent culture.

Cons

Too many insulated pockets of unqualified leadership for a company this young.

Pros

At a high-level Red Hat is a great company. It's built on a solid technology foundation, it's growing, and at its size, opportunities to work in different parts of the business exist.

Cons

Strong consistent leadership throughout the organization is lacking. Pockets do exist however they are small. A significant degree of political gamesmanship is prevalent which slows decision making and execution.
