Pros

Subsidized food. Made lifelong friend due to be so miserable constantly. Misery loves company applies 1000% here.

Cons

One of the worst 3.5 years of my career was spent here. One word to sum up this entire company is “inconsistent.” From hiring practice, titles, salaries, vision, to culture, work hours , literally everything is inconsistent here. Also be prepared to record all your conversations with your managers because they might gaslight you. HR is useless too so don’t think HR can help you with your sexist or racist bosses. If you’re and engineer, for the love of all that is holy do not come here. Every day you stay here the more you fall behind in the industry and you won’t even know any better. Don’t just take my word, you can do a search on google for this monstrosity and see how they’ve been going downhill and going through multiple rounds of layoffs.

Pros

In my time here, I haven’t discovered any Pros.

Cons

Chaotic work environment with constantly changing goals. The company is very reactionary to drops in profit and can’t see the long-term outcomes, only short term gains. The company reorganizes multiple times a year. In the 2.5 years I’ve been here, there have been 5 rounds of large layoffs, including folks with years of experience. If they are hiring you out of school, be warned that you’ll be shuffled around between different roles and teams every few months, leaving you little time to get the hang of whatever job you’re assigned to.

Pros

The pay was good. Remote. Unlimited pto.

Cons

They’ve destroyed every business they’ve bought. Layoff people with decades of service time. Absolutely no loyalty to the people or brands. They will sell you on what a kind, caring organization there are. That they are different in a great way. It’s all lies. At the end of the day they are like any other cut-throat company that will toss you out as soon as it suits them. Only they are far worse by feeding you lies about being a kinder, gentler company. The company has no direction. Initiatives change a dime with no warning. Anything they think they might be able to make a buck on becomes the priority. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to work. Don’t fall for the narrative they are selling.
