Pros

Opportunity to advance and learn new technologies are available. RV has multiple locations and verticals you can work under. Heavy cloud presence.

Cons

There is a heavy DEI/ESG push from the senior levels to the point where I felt hampered productivity. I was in a quarterly tech focused meeting where it seemed a third of the blocks covered how to better ally to our marginalized coworkers, how to protest effectively against police brutality, and how to change our technical terminology to be less hurtful to our minority colleagues. I remember during the BLM protests, a competition within the company on which team could raise the most money to help these groups and the company would match the donation. There were times I felt singled out and accused of having some privilege because my opinion was different or if I was playing devils advocate.
