Pros

I enjoyed working with my direct team and will be excited to see what they do upon leaving RV. I liked the projects I worked on and the ability to work on things out of my comfort zone.

Cons

a total narcissist for a CEO, cult-like company culture, frequent layoffs, constant talk around DEI with no action to accompany it. The pay is also substantially lower for most editorial roles than you would get anywhere else in 2022

Pros

The people you work with are great. I’ve met some of my best friends working at RV. The benefits are great, PTO, 401k, the list goes on.

Cons

If you’re expecting even average pay, look somewhere else. I’ve been told so many times that I’d be getting raises or a promotion that never ended up happening. Very cult-like culture. People worship Ric as if he were their god when I’m reality he’s very fake in my opinion. During AEMs he’ll get so emotional but the second the cameras are off he’s back to business as usual with a stone face. This company and the higher-ups only care about their ego and how they’re seen. It’s all for social media.

Cult like culture that is not based on substance. Very minimal innovation. Old boys/girls (very white) network at all levels of leadership.
