Pros

unlimited PTO is great. Good benefits but insurance is based in SC (BCBS of SC) so can be more difficult to find providers in satellite cities

Cons

need salary adjustments for content writers. SEO team makes way more

Pros

I can't speak for every business because they're so segmented and each has a culture of its own. However, the company-wide response to Covid throughout the last year has really impressed me and made me feel proud to work here. A year ago, my critique would have been work-life balance. However, the pandemic brought regular recharge Fridays and a future commitment to remote work flexibility. On top of untracked PTO, all of these perks make me feel like I belong to a company that values me as a person. Aside from that, RV is truly what you make of it. There are endless opportunities to move around and pursue your interests within the org (if you advocate for yourself). And the people are wonderful in my experience. I feel really positive about the future of the company. No layoffs throughout the pandemic (to my knowledge at least), and tons of growth within the last few years.

Cons

- Priorities are constantly shifting and it can be hard to keep up. - Some people still wear burnout as a badge of honor, though I think that's changing
