Not A Great Student Job

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

you can work on homework on the job and there's usually snacks

Cons

Students are treated like corporate drones instead of Reedies. Managers generally are not able to answer questions. Scheduling is not very flexible. Hours get reduced in the spring time and the call center is overbooked so sometimes you are sent home for no reason. Commission is so small it might as well not exist. Even though you can work on homework it's impossible to get anything done because the call center is so loud and you have to make phone calls at the same time. The snacks are not very good.

Pros

Great culture, friendly people, good opportunities for young professionals (especially current students and recent graduates).

Cons

Poor management; little trust of lower employees. Things change often and don't always get effectively communicated to the whole office.
