The company is experiencing a decline, getting worse by a lack of essential skills among its Indian managers. They are deficient in both technical expertise and management acumen, rendering them unable to make independent decisions. Simple instructions often elude them, necessitating frequent clarification calls at inconvenient times. Consequently, what should be straightforward email exchanges have devolved into unproductive calls, leading to weekly delays in project deliveries. Collaborating with the team has become challenging due to these limitations. Furthermore, the managers are engaging in gatekeeping practices and unethical behavior in task management. They are transforming the company into an exploitative environment, coercing developers to artificially extend task durations and purposefully delaying deliveries to maintain their perceived importance. There is no proper exit process and everyone starts behaving differently when you start your notice.

Reflektive is now bought by another company named LTG and they are migrating this reflektive product into their own system. It will take another 3 or 4 months and after that, the entire reflektive team will be laid off. All senior members already left the company knowing this. The remaining members are here because they couldn't find another job. Because of this frustration these senior members and low level managers are bullying the other employees venting out their frustration. Overall the entire environment in this office is depressing and I would advice not joining here as anyway you will be laid off soon.
