Pros

They have semesters in place and procedures to follow, but no role play or training support and it was all virtual training... with old school sales tactics thread with AI Internet Leads

Cons

Refloor is a large national flooring company with strong marketing, so field sales reps do get a lot of leads. However, the company operates with what they openly call “ABH – Always Be Hiring,” which reflects the extremely high turnover. The role felt like a revolving door with heavy corporate pressure on sales numbers. Coming from years in the construction contracting world, i was shocked being forced to sign a non-compete agreement tied to the position that anyone considering the role should review carefully. Unfortunately, I was also left with wages that were never paid after my time there, which was very disappointing! The company has strong brand recognition, but in my experience the focus was far more on constant hiring than on supporting or retaining employees.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Refloor has grown quickly in recent years, and with that growth we continue to invest heavily in improving training, systems, and support for our teams. Our goal is to give sales professionals the structure, marketing support, and opportunities they need to succeed while helping homeowners make informed decisions about their flooring projects. Like many performance-based sales roles in the home improvement industry, this position can be demanding and isn’t the right fit for everyone. However, many of our sales professionals have built successful careers with Refloor, with several team members earning strong incomes and growing with the company over time. We also take concerns about compensation very seriously. Refloor is committed to paying all teammates accurately and in accordance with applicable laws. Anyone who believes there is an outstanding payroll issue is encouraged to contact our HR team so it can be reviewed and resolved. We appreciate the feedback regarding training as well. As we continue expanding into new markets, improving onboarding and coaching for our teams remains a priority. We wish you the best in your future opportunities and appreciate the time you spent with Refloor.

Pros

Pff you wish, there are none.

Cons

Low pay, but they act like you can make a lot there. Dishonest sales tactics where they pretend to give you different discounts until the customer finally gets to a reasonable price. Why do you think they changed their logo and color scheme.

We changed the logo three years ago and have not had an office in Southfield in several years either. This does not appear to be a review of any recent company operations.

Thank you for sharing your perspective after several years with Refloor. It's rewarding to hear that the training, leadership, growth opportunities, and team culture have contributed to a positive experience. We strive to create an environment where employees have the tools, support, and clear expectations needed to succeed while also providing opportunities to grow their careers as the company continues to expand. We also appreciate your balanced feedback regarding the pace and performance expectations. Refloor is a results-driven environment, and we recognize that the high standards, structured processes, and fast pace may not be the right fit for everyone. At the same time, we believe those elements help create opportunities for employees who are motivated to develop their skills and advance within the organization. We appreciate you taking the time to provide such thoughtful feedback.
