They don't care about people

Pros

A lot of the employees are good people and they are what makes the company worth anything. The company does have a lot of breaks/days off, but they aren't paid. The Christian values 9f the company makes them sound good, unfortunately they don't live it.

Cons

Management. Management is horrible. Unless you are in "leadership" your voice doesn't matter. All Regal cares about is its image, and at the cost of its employees. The work is unfulfilling, pointless, and constantly micro managed. The way they treat their employees is awful. Overall, Regal is a company run by self-righteous, self-important and selfish management team. You're only useful to them in so much as you can help their image.

Not at all what they preach to be.

Pros

You work between 40 and 60 hours a week depending where in the company you work at. Monday-Friday work, some Saturday work with notice. Learning experience for yacht building. Lean certification. Will never work less than 40 hours unless due to a shutdown.

Cons

Do not hire directly, they make you apply through a temp agency and make you wait 6 months to a year depending on your record card to make you a permanent employee with benefits. They close for two to three weeks twice through the year, once in the summer and then again toward the end of December. If you are not a permanent employee through Regal, that's Not PTO.

Pros

Great production co-workers who work tirelessly and build a fantastic product. The people constructing the product truly care about their customers and their overall satisfaction

Cons

If you haven't been employed there for 20+ years and part of the "good 'ol boy network" they do not value your opinion (even if you are more educated or more experienced). There are people in leadership roles who are currently holding this company back because they have become complacent. They have no formal way to gather employees input and opinions which could greatly enhance their product, as well as market share.
