-Aggressive and uncaring management above the individual building level. -Extremely variable schedule and work load. -Loss of weekends. -Unprofessional work environments (at the building management level.) -Tendency to lean heavily into favoritism and industry established individuals rather than promoting from within (many building managers come from chains outside of Regal.) -Building managers are generally left with little help or effective guidance from district managers. -Expectations for quality are high while payroll hours to meet those expectations are low. -Very few opportunities for advancement due to positional restrictions at the building management level (especially if you are younger than 21 @ locations with bars.) -HR is very inconsistent and slow. -Low pay vs competitors, including similar positions in other industries.
