Pros

Good pay, raises and stock. That's about all I can say that is good about this place. If you like money with a price this is a good place for you.

Cons

Honestly stayed for the money and decided to leave because at the end it wasn't worth my health. I can work long hours and offer ideas- that wasn't the problem. The people, management and the overall culture has changed since I was hired four years ago. My boss was mentally abusive and cold as well as belittling and the people around me and outside of my group began looking for ways to hurt people's livelihood instead of work as a team. People would get others fired or demoted with no remorse and this is the new culture of Regeneron. Aside from the entry pay and stock- which is falling daily now I would never recommend this place to anyone I care about. It literally takes over your life and sucks the life out of you.

Toxic culture

Pros

Ok compensation (not competitive with COLA peers like Genentech). Ok parties (would prefer that money in paycheck). Ok industry name recognition. Smart colleagues, the ones who remain.....

Cons

It’s 2018 and biotech requires IT, but here IT is a war torn feudal state from 1992. Layer in a 30yo company org with decrepit HR that is growing faster than it can handle, toss in a few arrogant millionaire long termers, sprinkle on a few toxic intermediate managers (and omg are there a lot of micromanagement levels!). Recipe for toxicity. Also only the long termers can afford to live in the area, comp can’t compete with high cost of living and stock options are insulting. Toxic culture with no recognition of issues from top, they think they are golden geese laying money eggs.

Toxic IOPS Culture & Senior Leadership

Pros

It is clear that there are people at IOPS who are genuinely concerned with improving the lives of patients, a true testament to Len's idea of "doing well by doing good".

Cons

The IOPS Senior Leadership Team is one of the least competent group of "VPs" I have ever encountered and also one of the most corrupt. They blatantly punish hardworking individuals for their loyalty to someone not fortunate enough to be in the perfect graces of HR, who by the way, conduct seemingly hourly witch hunts at the whim of its "benevolent" leader. This team would rather maintain their quantifiably incorrect decisions and further damage the business, than admit they were wrong and make appropriate adjustments. The only demonstrated ways to be successful in this organization is to either sleep your way to the top or become a nauseating sycophant. My advice to prospective employees: keep looking for another employment opportunity.
