Pros

Salary Majority of nice colleagues

Cons

No work life balance No proper resources: staffing and budget Expected to do the job of 5 and hearing the CEO say you need to do more with less (he is totally lost in his ivory tower)

Pros

Unsure there are any. It was very negative environment.

Cons

I worked there through a CRO. I was not a direct Regeneron employee. The Manager was a micro manger, she was not supportive or helpful. She was constantly telling my CRO manager what a terrible job I was doing but I received no direct feedback from her. Essentially she told my CRO manager she didn’t want me on the project. Their loss. I worked my butt off to please her but nothing will make her happy except seeing me fired and without a job. All over meeting minutes. No one even reads them and mine were great, she just needed something to complain about,

Good benefits, pay, and people to work with. But it all comes at a cost

Pros

-Good benefits, helps pay for schooling -Decent salary -The majority of the people I worked with were very nice and willing to lend a hand

Cons

-Company locations are in boring areas with generally lousy weather. -Salary is decent for the area but not great compared to the rest of the industry. -Middle management tends to be good at their previous technical roles but are not great at actually managing people as many of the managers I knew were promoted due other team members leaving their group. This exodus of talent leaves the few remaining scientists applying for manager roles but many of those scientists don't have good managerial training, experience, or talent. This can create a toxic work culture at times that burns out employees quickly. -Certain teams form tight cliques and it can be difficult to make friends if you aren't absorbed into one quickly. Can make you feel lonely and alienated if your team is like this. -At will-employment so you can get terminated anytime without much reason.
