Disappointing experience

Pros

As a temporary worker, you can look forward to unlimited free coffee, a beautiful campus, plenty of parking space, a company party, free scraps of leftover food, free ice creams every summer thursday, a casual dress code, and the best pro of all is that if you are an actual employee under regeneron, then you can get promoted for being a lazy worker while a temp does all of your work.

Cons

working with technically illiterate and unprofessional workers who don't take their jobs seriously but complain to no end without offering a solution to their problems. no learning and development opportunities. a gossip, cliquey, disingenuous, and toxic work environment that favors and promotes brown nosers. conform or be left out of special projects. a work culture that enables, promotes, and encourages bad behavior and poor performance. hard workers are not rewarded. if you're a seasoned professional who takes your role and work seriously do not work here because no good deed goes unpunished. try your luck elsewhere.

Pros

Culture, Independence, Team, Resources, Talent. These are words I associate with my workplace. As a scientist, it's thrilling to be surrounded by really smart dedicated scientists. I'm not sure that the work I do every day would even be possible in most environments.

Cons

Some territoriality between research groups. Salaries could be better. Honestly, it's hard to find much to say in the category of "cons".

Pros

Very good compensation with plenty of perks like free coffee, Friday morning breakfast, and an on-site fitness center (albeit very small). More meaningful benefits include PTO (which increases after 5 years) as well as an unbridled Recognition/Reward program.

Cons

Trinkets and 'swag' often leads to false assumption of employee opinion. Not coincidentally, Regeneron has a heavily devoted interest in keeping a pristine reputation as a top employer to work for; this is far too forced with far too much chest-thumping. Areas that need focus are ignored but pompous, self-assertion is never in short supply. Regeneron’s quality systems are in need of major upgrades and not just in a software sense, but philosophically; they are misused at almost every level. This leads to the false prioritization of resources whether it is from QA, Manufacturing, QC and/or elsewhere. Everything becomes distraction work while genuine problems or the roots of problems remain unresolved.
