Pros

Overall a great company to work for. But some offices are very outdated in how they process returns and that can be frustrating but the company is in the process of updating everything and I think it heading in the right direction

Cons

Long hours during busy season but that’s to be expected in this field

Pros

Work from home, flexibility, engineers are great to collaborate with, wide and varied exposure with different environments, and a culture that does support work life balance. Tons of employee programs if you're into that sort of thing. The people here do care about each other. Benefits package is decent, but HSA has a fee and 401K match could be better. I would only recommend to a friend because it is a safe place to work, but it is a stepping stone job.

Cons

Hard to move up, salary increases are minimal, no real bonuses, specific training for certain aspects of your role can be hard to come by depending on your manager. Siloed departments, have to work hard for communication that you need a lot of the time. Stay too long and you'll be stagnant.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We're surprised and sorry to hear that you don't see a career future here! We have defined career paths and formal promotion processes that are published for all associates to utilize, including tips on how to personally play a key role in your own advancement. In addition, all internal openings are shared with our associates and they are encouraged to consider those for their own internal mobility. We feel that all associates have opportunities to learn, grow and advance based on their personal interests and goals. There are many factors that need to be considered when determining compensation increases and growth opportunities, which is why we have a multi-tiered performance and compensation review process in place that allows for multiple leaders to get involved in making these important decisions, in addition to receiving feedback from those supervisors that an associate may work most closely with on a day-to-day basis.

We actually have an internal site dedicated to educating our associates about both the promotion and compensation processes at Rehmann. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible, so associates can not only understand the process, but also play an active role in their own advancement.
