Too-big company with multiple locations nationwide made communicating between east/west coast offices challenging. Outdated internal systems made it harder to run daily operations compared to newer technology that the company could afford. Over-catering to a luxury clientele created a scenario in which some residents were over-indulged when things didn't go their way and unintentionally rewarded for misbehavior.
