Pros

I worked for Related Management for 3 years. Looks great on the resume if you want to work in real estate (but that might change as this company's reputation in the industry slides downward).

Cons

Loyal employees who worked for the company for years and gave their all were laid off suddenly, with no thought as to how the departments would function without those people, and then once they realized their mistake they tried to hire some of them back. Poor leadership, does not value employees at all, no growth opportunities as they do not promote from within.

Corp salaries are good with bonus potential.

Cons

Worse management I've ever seen. I know one VP has been reported numerous times to HR regarding her behavior and who she treats employee. And nothing as been done. Everyone who works under her has left or complained but the HR management staff has done nothing. They are setting themselves for a lawsuit because she creates a hostile work enviroment.

Looks good on your resume. Top of the line development projects, the product practically sells itself!

Cons

Management's inability to communicate effectively with employees. Very minimal training, you're expected to 'just pick it up' with no room for trial and error. Building staff is great and staff as a whole will get each other through some tough spots in the learning curve but don't expect anything from management, not even a straight answer to a simple question! Lots of passive aggressive behavior from some in management staff. Management will throw you under the bus in a NY minute in an attempt to cover up their own incompetence. Management encourages an elitist attitude but the salary doesn't warrant this behavior.
