Pros

Small company so get to learn outside of your normal scope as everyone has to help each other to be successful.

Cons

Most managers hire and promote based on friendships and favors. If you weren’t part of the social club, you would get bypassed.

Pros

Good pay. Great people, many from SpaceX, Virgin Orbit, Blue Origin and other aerospace companies. Work-life balance is a declared goal. Friendly to older professionals. It's great to work at a rocket factory, even though it could be loud sometimes. New technologies are eagerly adopted.

Cons

At all hands, the top management looked like they were uncomfortable talking to us and would rather be elsewhere. It's like they have bad news but cannot tell us. Competing in the heavy launch market is challenging. Without 3D-printing the rocket, it's not clear if the company has any advantage over its competitors. Almost everything is done from scratch, the Terran-1 designs are long forgotten. The turnaround is high, and it's the best people who are leaving.
