Pros

- Working on interesting AI problems - Product is moving fast and you feel that day to day. - Working with genuinely smart engineers - Good autonomy, nobody is micromanaging your decisions. - Still early enough that what you ship matters and has direct customer impact

Cons

- The pace is fast but if you're used to longer planning it takes a few weeks to calibrate. - Fun and energizing once you find your footing - You learn a lot by doing and asking, which suits some people more than others.

Pros

Opportunity to wear many hats and gain exposure across different business functions. Can work close with customers. Compensation is fairly competitive for a startup of this size. Fairly flexible work arrangements and casual office vibe. Free food in office 2 days a week.

Cons

Minimal design or product rigor, leadership encourage cutting corners at every turn, and junior engineers suffer the most because there’s little oversight. Features inevitably break, and then leadership hunt down the engineer who built it. The founders are always chasing the next viral hit instead of actually building a solid product and then wonder why customers don't come back. Processes and long-term planning are merely afterthoughts. One of the founders never worked a corporate job, and it shows.

You will have lots of responsibility and be asked for a lot. If you're the kind to be able to churn through a lot of work quickly and efficiently, you will do well here.

Cons

There's always more work but not always work that is enjoyable.
