Pros

The benefits were paid for by Reltio Co-workers were nice Customers were interesting Not pressured to work extra hours or weekends

Cons

Chaotic environment built on shifting sands. Caught in a downward spiral on multiple fronts: - releases are half-baked, resulting in significant problems, which strain tech support, and complex issues and fixes are funneled back to engineering, which takes time away from them working on the next release, which leads right back to releases that are half-baked. - unnerving as a customer facing employee - we could see the technical deficit and it felt disingenuous knowing these customers were relying on the product to work correctly at key moments (or all moments) for their business - management talks a good game but cannot be trusted. Financials were regularly shared in all hands mtgs, and their last fundraising round was at the end of 2021. Layoffs were done suddenly and after rapid hiring. Layoffs were handled poorly: one week's notice and one month's severance. Notified the week after Thanksgiving - best time of the year to start a job search. The reference to the credo in an earlier review by the company was disgusting.

Over Promising and Under Delivering

Pros

There are some great individuals at the company from peers to leaders. The product is very powerful. It can be a lot of fun working here when things are going well. Fun company outings. Best healthcare benefits.

Cons

Over promising and under delivering all the time. They'll always say at the quarterly meetings, "talk with your manager about your career path/goals". There was no career path laid in front unless you're kissing the person above you. Personally experienced and seeing it with my fellow peers, doesn't matter if you're reaching quota and hitting new heights. I've seen people with great performance be overlooked while they'll hire their past friend at XYZ company for the new, bigger position. The corporate structure feels like high school, where if you're part of the 'group', it's all good, but most people are left out.

Toxic Company Culture

Pros

Decent technology, but no true distinguishing features. At least, not that management can articulate in less than 5 minutes to a customer.

Cons

CEO continues to bring in "professional managers" that are anything but professional. Just look at the rating trend since July 2018 (when the latest group of corporate thugs started joining). The ratings still haven't recovered from the firings, displacements, and departures. The toxic environment of backstabbing and passive aggressive behavior (even at the highest levels) will continue to cause the company to move backward. It's a much worse-off company than several years ago.
