Most jobs not permanent. Most of the company jobs do not pay the employee well. Employees don't get benefits right away.

Pros

Sometimes they find great companies to work for but the Bosses of those companies suck.

Cons

If a company ends your assignment because of loss of work, Remedy sometimes acts as if you were fired and won't help you find a job after that. And if you call them they will lie to you and say that they don't have any thing.

Changed Payrate after working hours

Pros

Immediately found work. HR was friendly and returned calls promptly. Sadly they were pawns in a game of lies and thievery.

Cons

Quit job after finding coworker took 1 year to get hired on perm and was still on 3 months probation period. How was 1 year not long enough? They didnt have to hire him if they thought he wouldnt work out. Another temp said over 40 hours you get paid minimum wage instead of time in a half or even straight agreed wages. He could have been confused, but I saw the warnings and quit. That's when I was informed without 48 hours notice I would be paid min wage instead of $12 a hour for the hours I already worked. Where was my notice of this when I got hired? I understand why quitting without notice is bad, but it's a temp job and we agreed on a payrate.
