The best startup in the world, period
Pros
- The most authentic culture I've seen by far; each and every value stated in the handbook is not performative and all the values are something all the employees live and breathe here. - Everyone's voice and concerns count equally, completely flat hierarchy - and feedback is taken extremely seriously no matter what it is, there will be results regarding in a week. - The product and the idea behind it is completely disrupting and leading the global outlook on working Remotely (with a capital R, we've already made a brand out of it haha!), backed by *THE* VCs of the world, making everyone feel super meaningful to be a part of this in such early stages in bringing about a new world where it doesn't matter where you're based, you'll get the same chances with 0 discrimination based on 'geography'. Think Google in 1999 when they've gotten their first influx of VC investments - equally disruptive and equally meaningful, the same level of a paradigm shift. - The BENEFITS. Also, personal growth opportunities are huge, especially at these early stages - meaning both career opportunities, and education. - I can literally go on for days about why Remote is the place to be right now but just look at the stats - the Glassdoor score speaks for itself and it's 100% authentic, something I haven't seen until this point and was initially a bit skeptical (as a lot of companies have essentially 'fake' reviews).
Cons
- None. Seriously none. The only thing is that we're growing at a pace that I would assume is extremely hard to catch up with for some people, and it can sometimes feel like things change from the ground up on a weekly level as more and more teams are created and new people are hired to cover for the growth and the volume of work but if startup culture is for you and you thrive in such an environment, this is the place to come work at. - Also (not a con just a tip), please keep in mind that since the company is named 'Remote', it seems there are a few reviews (judging by the positions referenced) which were meant for different companies or experiences, same as with the number of employees referenced on LinkedIn. These are the only ones that seem to be somewhat 'negative' :-)
