Pros

You meet some cool co-workers

Cons

Only 3 weeks PTO including sick time Work Tuesday through Saturday There’s usually only one laser technician and sales consultant so if you want time off good luck there’s usually no one to cover the treatments so all the work load falls on you Everything comes down to money we can’t get you new equipment because that will cost 4,000 dollars well it doesn’t work and you sell these expensive packages so what do you want me to do? Tell the clients that my company won’t buy us new working equipment because they’re cheap but don’t worry I know you spent 4k for a luxury service. The clinical team who drive post treatment complications do not have medical licenses which doesn’t make sense to me

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the equipment in your former studio. We understand how important it is for our employees to have the tools they need to succeed, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will take your feedback as an opportunity to more effectively communicate with our studio team members when concerns are brought forward regarding the tools needed to support treating our clients.

Cons

*Operational Concerns and Expectations* We have several concerns regarding the current operational structure and expectations within our organization. 1. *Hours of Operation*: The new hours of operation have resulted in an unsustainable work schedule, particularly with the requirement to work every Saturday without a full weekend off. 2. *Staffing and Workload*: The current staffing ratio per studio is inadequate, leading to an uneven distribution of workload among employees. This has resulted in employees being expected to perform extra duties beyond their job descriptions, without corresponding adjustments to their compensation. 3. *Studio Maintenance and Cleaning*: In states where medical providers are not required to assist with studio maintenance, consultants are left to bear the sole responsibility for cleaning and maintaining the studio. This is an unfair expectation, particularly given the disparity in compensation between consultants and medical providers. 4. *Financing Application Requirements*: The mandatory requirement for all clients to undergo financing applications has created undue pressure on employees. Furthermore, penalizing employees for not meeting financing application targets is an unfair and demotivating practice. 5. *Turnover Rate and Work-Life Balance*: The organization's high turnover rate and lack of work-life balance are significant concerns. Employees are expected to perform duties outside of their job descriptions, including social media content creation and outdoor marketing, without fair compensation or recognition. 6. *Compensation and Recognition*: The lack of compensation for social media content creation and constant video production is unfair and undervalues the contributions of employees. Similarly, expecting employees to physically market and recruit customers outside of the studio without fair compensation or recognition is unreasonable. We believe that addressing these concerns is essential to improving employee satisfaction, reducing turnover, and promoting a healthier work-life balance.
