Great company, our Division is solid and our voice is heard by by our management. Everyone is always willing to teach you and help with the professional growth.

Pros

Republic is the 2nd largest waste management company in US. Stable industry which usually means minimum disruption on workforce. Opportunity to work with variety of departments in each site. Front line employees are dedicated. Multiple locations so relocation opportunity.

Cons

Company reporting structure is multiple layered which means it takes long time to get approvals or new ideas implemented. Not enough diversity in management workforce. Technology infrastructure is little behind but they are trying to make their presence on the web.

The good thing about the company is that you get paid every week and it has great benefits. They have new management that wants what is best for the company and it's employees.

Cons

Needs more structure within the company. The struggle right now is getting together a plan to bring structure and fairness to the company.
