Pros

It was close to my apartment

Cons

I got hired at the Woodbury, MN location and it took several days prior to my start date for me to officially start. The manager would tell me to come in for orientation 3 different times and each time I would go up to the front desk and tell them I was there to be trained and they would look at me all confused and then proceed to tell me that that said manager (Gabi Blanco-Badboy) wasn’t even there. Again, this happened 3 times. Once I finally started to work there, they piled on with so much work. There wasn’t many houskeepers so typically we each had to do about 30-40 rooms a day (the legal limit a day is 14). I worked there for a few weeks until a customer accused me of stealing $300 from their room (for context, these said customers had the most filthiest room I’ve ever seen and they purposely LEFT hundreds of $1 bills all over the kitchen counter for the world to see, it was obvious they were trying to set someone up. I DID NOT touch that money. I cleaned the room the best of my ability and then I left. One of the managers saw the money on the table when they went to check up on Me because it was taking me a while to finish and made a comment about all that money on the counter saying it was weird that it was there and I agreed but I DID NOT TOUCH THAT MONEY!!!! I went home and about an hour later I got a call from the police saying one of my managers Gabi and the other executives housekeeper who witnessed me cleaning that room (I forgot her name because she’s irrelevant)said I was the last person to leave that room and the people in that room said they were missing $300 which was a lie. My manager never told me anything about this when I left . Came back the next day and they waited until my shift started to tell me I’m being suspended from my job because there’s a police investigation on me (there was not, this happened in May and to this day I’ve heard absolutely nothing from the police because again it was a false accusation.) I haven’t been back there since. It was really disappointing that they kept wasting my time like that. I don’t recommend this job at all. Do better for yourself honestly.

Pros

Management that cares about it's staff

Cons

Most problems faced were due to complaints from guests about things breaking or underwhelmed by the availability and quality of service you are able to provide. If you are okay with overcoming this hurdle then it is a really good place to work. Its also important to note that renovations were being talked about around the time I quit so this problem may not be an issue in the near future.
