Pros
ResMed has been a great employer to gather experience. They follow a lot of industry best practices in terms of process and have been very adamant in ensuring tech knowledge is spread amongst all team members. In addition, the teams there have been filled with great people that were very supportive in the learning process. All this makes ResMed a great place to have on your CV.
Cons
Salaries at that time were difficult to get to grow with skill set, especially if you were hired on with a low starting salary, in which case you were better off leaving the company. They also went through a few waves of redundancies, shutting down entire departments, removing a lot of senior engineers without the consideration of moving them to other parts of the business where their knowledge would have been a great asset. These moves happened a few times and were negative on morale.
