      Pros

      Resolve to Save Lives is a rare innovative force in global health. I worked with the Prevent Epidemics team. During my time there, we thrived in a startup-like environment, prioritizing tangible contributions and practical problem solving. We focused on reducing complexity in systems and addressing bottlenecks with governments and communities.

      Cons

      The work in the Prevent Epidemics program was intense but rewarding, and I was supported by my manager with a strategic understanding of adapting pace and prioritization. The internal culture was a balance of technical expertise and empathy. During my time, work was completely remote, but we were given opportunities to connect with colleagues during work travel and annual retreats.

      The work is very interesting and there are some of the world's leading experts within public health that you have access to.

      Cons

      The fully remote nature of the org means there is little to no culture, and it is hard to get to know your coworkers. Likewise the culture of working non stop and overworking runs deep
