Pros

Resonate has been a fantastic place to start my career. From day one, I have received amazing support, guidance, and encouragement from both my immediate team and colleagues across the wider business. There is a genuinely positive and collaborative culture where people are always willing to help and share their knowledge. I would highly recommend Resonate to anyone looking to start their career.

Cons

We recently had an employee survey go out so I’m anticipating some positive change around L&D as well as career development.

Pros

Working from home flexibility. Nice offices.

Cons

Chaotic leadership environment. There is a glaring lack of respect for technical expertise; if you are a doer who delivers, then expect to be stalled. Career progression is reserved exclusively for those skilled in corporate theatre and blame shifting. The internal atmosphere is governed by fear. Critical thinking is treated as insubordination. This means that real project risks and problems are hidden until they explode, at which point the inevitable delays are blamed on the technical staff rather than the systemic lack of communication. HR feels more aligned with management interests than employee support. Rather than mediating or supporting staff, they act as a filter to identify anyone who raises legitimate concerns. Providing honest feedback is a career ending move. Senior execs operate with a patronising attitude, openly dismissing client requirements under the toxic assumption that the customer doesn't know what they want. Morale is decimated, driven by a leadership team that is either fundamentally incapable of empathy or intentionally indifferent to the workforce they are burning through.
