They offer a variety of work and most employees are pleasant to work with. The Anchorage office is in a nice location.
Cons
Very expensive insurance packages, low salaries, disconnect between management and staff. This is an employee owned company. The ownership path is closely guarded and not spoken about. Continuing education is not encouraged.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I’m sorry you didn’t have a great experience at RDI. We too are concerned with the high cost of health insurance and are taking proactive steps to try and control those costs, including a company-wide wellness program and offering a variety of health insurance options. Your feedback about the ownership structure is similar to what others have said and was taken to heart. Over the last year, the president has provided company-wide presentations about how it works and has encouraged employees to talk to him directly if they have additional questions. Regarding continuing education, employees are encouraged to pursue training based on their career goals and the RDI Employee Handbook includes information for obtaining reimbursement. If employees are not feeling supported in their pursuit of continuing development, I would encourage them to talk to their managers or HR to see what can be done.
Flexible schedule if you are not at a client site.
All the employee's are permanent unlike a lot of the temp agency type firms.
If you get on the right project you can build a lot of experience quickly.
Very little corporate bureaucracy.
Cons
Compensation and benefits are poor.
It's hard to get on good projects.
Unless you come in as a tech lead or project manager it is more a resume building job.
High turnover.
