* Stingy founders, valuation is a lie. They won't raise again because the valuation will fall to 800M from 3.2B. Ask your recruiter about growth rate of revenue and current revenue and do your math. Hit up a VC to ask what the true valuation should be
* Unmotivated employees. No incentive with small grants in inflated stock value. With the caliber of employees here, most leave for OpenAI, Anthropic, Anysphere etc. as they should.
* Directionless. Retool leadership didn't invest in AI until recently and so the product is playing catch up. With the money we pay, no good AI engineers would ever join us so we're left following the market. Retool prides itself in being "resourceful" and the results are here to see.
