Challenging But worth it

Pros

Basically guaranteed placement. Online Training due to COVID, get several certifications and learn a great deal about an in demand skillset. The real value is the company relationship with client companies that helps to guarantee placement in an uncertain world.

Cons

Challenging and somewhat overwhelming curriculum, very reminiscent of being in College for mechanical Engineering as far as amount of work and difficulty.

Pros

Trainers are very knowledgeable and will help if you ever need it. The sense of community among peers helps learning technologies easier. Paid for getting trained as opposed to bootcamps where you pay to get trained. I was a part of the batch that would be sent to clients in a specific location (Austin, TX), so the guaranteed location played a big part in accepting a position. 9-5 with paid lunch, with several opportunities for self-study. In addition, there will be several days where the day will end early. This position promotes self-discipline; as long as you finish your work they let you do as you please, so if you enter with the mindset of just taking it easy, you will not be prepared for the future evaluations. On the other hand, if you understand the technologies well, you can cut yourself some slack.

Cons

Little transparency among higher ups. Upper management will not reveal their plans for you until they have good news that's guaranteed. Miscommunication between upper management and managers promote misinformation. A lot of work will need to be put in. Immersing oneself in the technologies will be the way to succeed. Little pay ($8) until getting picked up by a client ($57k). Most employees end up getting assigned to a client in a random location. Employees that are really struggling will be laid off, but don't be alarmed if you end up struggling a bit.

Pros

Connections to the job market

Cons

This is a SWEATSHOP coding situation. The CEO and staff are hustlers who peddle future job prospects to make a killing off of all of their poorly trained associates. The training is lacking at best... They pretty much make you train yourself and then penalize you if you don't meet their requirements. What you'll find is Indentured servitude here folks and a bad business model with a company culture that is the puppy-mill of software engineers. You have no say in what you will learn and there is no guarantee you'll get a job in software development. Some people have been forced into jobs that are closer to data entry and not dev jobs. Anyone in their right mind should do their research and learn about the company from places other than their website... and then choose something else. There are so many ways to get into software development. This is by far the worst way to get in and if I had known what I know now, I would've chosen differently.
