A good way to get into software development if you don't have other options

Pros

--You learn a lot, and there's a lot of networking you can do. --Housing they provide is affordable. --Through training you will get a lot of help and practice with soft skills like presenting and interviewing. --At the end of the training, you'll get a lot of opportunities interviewing with mid to high level companies.

Cons

--High stress, and no work life balance during training --training is paid at minimum wage --not everyone makes it through training, anecdotally 60% - 80% are able to finish --there is no guarantee that you will get a job after training, but it is very likely --housing is with a lot of roommates
