Pros

- you learn A LOT of technologies and get to implement them all - paid training - trainers are really patient and helpful - you get to meet other new developers and work on projects together - you get to work from home during training

Cons

- the speed is pretty quick so there was a time in the middle of training where I felt pretty overwhelmed (as did a lot of my coworkers) - the economy was suffering and so a large chunk of employees in my batch had to be let go in the middle of training *Note - sometimes you may have to work really long days when trying to finish projects

Pros

As someone who is new to this industry, its hard to break the shell that gets a job as a Developer. Revature gave a good plan for training and creating applications quickly and be ready for on the job work! Would Recommend If you feel stuck after graduating college and having a hard time making it!

Cons

Training is short and compact, so it can be extremely difficult at times. But overall that's the only Con I can think of.

Pros

- A relatively short training program to enter you into the IT field. - Gives you a broad range of skills, which helps you hit the ground running a bit easier when working with their clients on contract. - Great trainers (at least for me) shout out to Kevin T. - Pays you through training. - Helps you get work after training.

Cons

- If you do not have an extensive background in software development, or a degree in Computer Science, getting through the training is very difficult, but it's not impossible. It's going to take a toll on you mentally if you are in this scenario as I was. - The pay during training is based on the state you live in, so if you live in a low minimum wage state, this will make it quite difficult to survive. You must have a low cost living situation going into this training, or a good chunk of money saved up to get you through the 10 weeks. Almost all my money was eaten by bills with a little leftover for food and basic necessities.
