Cons

Very few cons; on that note, contract-work is challenging; Decentralized management requires initiative with HR

Pros

Revature doesn't hide or lie what they are about. You are going to learn to learn. It's not the technology you are learning, but the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Management is honest every step of the way.

Cons

Not for everyone. Hard job. If you can't learn to love the stress of delivering product using newly learned technology, you are going to struggle.

Their training is top-notch. The internal Revature community is positive and wants you to succeed. They pay you minimum wage, yes, but when do you ever get paid to learn, and then get job placement assistance?

Cons

It's incredibly hard work. If you're not ready to spend 10 weeks grinding to prove you can learn technologies at a shockingly fast pace, don't bother applying.
