Pros

I get paid while training. You get familiar with technologies they teach. I will know about the job market in Tech.

Cons

You won't have a job security. I landed a job through Revature, and after 6 months, the company laid me off because of the budget cuts, and the recession in 2022. As Revature promised that will take care of their employees, and they will pay them and find them jobs again, but they laid me off very soon as soon as I returned to them. They did not care about me, and just left me alone. I had all my bills and expenses behind. The only thing they said was, "We are sorry."

Good but Not for Everyone

Pros

This is only about the training process. Sets you up with clients (Still working on that for me) Teaches you how to code (regardless of skill level) Gets you past that 2 year required hurdle for entry level programming jobs Pretty fast at responding to emails and phone calls Friendly environment in training

Cons

This is only about the training process. Fast teaching pace Coding isn't for everyone Even if you're good at coding, you start at the same beginning as everyone else Pays minimum wage at the beginning Client communication can suck (Rescheduling interviews with a client is common)

Pros

This company will PAY to train you, in fact, they want you to succeed. It sounded reaaaaaly shady before I started but I dug deeper and found several UTube reviews and decided to take the plunge. WORTH IT. It was by no means easy and they will make you work for it but the experience you get is marketable and will get you into real jobs off the bat. Not only that they will also help you develop the soft skills needed for the interviews they will set for you.

Cons

It's hard you will put in a lot of time and there's studying and also working on your project. Forget your life outside of Revature for the 10 weeks you will not have time for anything else. Stressful, very stressful but worth the sleepless nights
