Pros
Revature does a great job of managing and ensuring that each technology a batch gets into is up to par with what a client wants to see. No, your starting salary isn't 100k. No, you're not guaranteed any job placement. No, you're not guaranteed to learn anything. Revature does not guarantee anything for you. YOU must ensure you're own success with Revature's tools. I do not think this place is for everyone. If you are put off by having to work hard and grind for something you are wanting to do, then I suggest you look elsewhere. If you have a BS in CS, don't let that degree make you believe you're better than a career changer coming from where ever. You make your success, not Revature. Their mission statement speaks a lot about this. If you are a career changer and want a way out, DO NOT read on Reddit. Tons of ignorant fools wave their BSCS degree around while being on unemployment since they graduated. Flaunting at their jobs with Chipotle that they hate the "Cattle Hoarders". Do not let these people sway you into thinking you are any worse than them. As aspiring juniors, we all have one common goal; to be placed in a position. Bettering the state of your lives whether it's for money or personal goals. If you think that you want to make a switch, go for it. Keep this in mind, somewhere many people are gonna be just as hungry as you, be more than you were yesterday. You will succeed at Revature.
Cons
As of now, the only con I can think of is the training pays at 8 dollars is a bit low, but I believe it's the sacrifice you need to make if you are truly trying to change life for yourself. No Cons, it's hard work. Might want to get used to it.
