Pros

Energetic, Helpful, Performance Oriented, Friendly, Ambitious. Trainers are more than happy to help, and Human resources is extremely friendly which is nice to see. The executives here at hq do roam around every now and again and introduce themselves and establish some rapport with us even though we're likely not going to have much dealing with them. Revature for the most part makes sure we're all happy here.

Cons

Training is a little rushed IMO, might just be the program I'm in. The folks in charge of retention aren't the most helpful, but otherwise everyone else is very friendly and helpful. The training housing is very cramped. The apartment I'm assigned to is a townhouse and is one of the more spacious ones and we still barely have room for the 5 of us, but still livable if you're on the same page with your roomates.

Pros

-Rigorous, structured training -Fantastic trainer -Certifications paid for (if you pass) -2 year contract guaranteed with a Fortune 500 company (If you pass training) -Huge growth opportunity -Camaraderie with your training class becomes an important aspect of the training

Cons

-Your life feels ambiguous from the very beginning to the end of the program -Little consistency between classes as to the hiring process at the end -Housing provided but not free ($100/week), and you could and probably will be living with 5 other people at some point in a 3 bedroom apartment. -Not everyone makes it through the training, we started with 19 and ended with 16. - Don't ever expect to get real information from upper management, they easily skirt around your questions

Pros

-Excellent training in software development from a business analysis point of view -Excellent personal development program -Great step stone to a fortune 500 company -Living with associates makes it easy to work and study after work hours -Diversity

Cons

-Housing is too expensive considering that you are sharing with 3-4 more people -Feedback to associates can improve and should be provided, accessible online. -Focus on technical training for at least couple weeks: SQL and Unix -Could raise salary to at least $10 per hour -Be more transparent the first two weeks and tell associates the potential anchor and domain you are going to placed in.
