Pros

-essentially a software engineering bootcamp that pays you instead of vice-versa -You learn a lot -Currently remote -You work for contracted out company after about 3 months of training that raises your salary -can get vouchers for additional certifications after original training

Cons

-You don't choose your tech stack (biggest con) -Relocation is ambiguous and dependent on the client entirely (you can even potentially remain remote) -hr can be slow to respond at times pre-staging(before you're interviewing with clients) -(pseudo con) there is a contract measure that if you leave after the first week you owe them 30k, but realistically it's just an anti poaching measure (they don't want to train you for 3 months then have you just bail to a different company cause then everyone would do that and revature would just be out 5-6k per individual. If you're bought out by their client, you owe nothing. If you under-perform and are let go, you owe nothing. I think virtually no-one ends up owing them this fee. -minimum wage until with a client, but do remember that you are remote until that time, I personally am fine with the pay to basically just study 7 hours a day with paid 1 hour lunch.
