Pros
As a software engineer you are getting a foot in the door of an industry that is notoriously difficult to get into. They don't sugar coat it. You are the product. Overall, if you make it through the training your outlook is good. Most people who can hack the training get placed with a client, and many associates will have their contracts bought out within 1-2 years.
Cons
The pay on client projects is not great. That's all there is to it. You are on a two year contract, you are the product Revature is selling to companies. The training is fairly grueling but only lasts 10-12 weeks. Training/staging pay very little. Once you land with a client and your two-year commitment begins your pay is lackluster year 1 and not awesome year 2.
