Pros

Above average salary if you negotiate well

Cons

-people are treated poorly and considered puppets of few master-mind - cuts in benefits however they still want to compete with big market players - extreme micromanagement: decission making stands in one or two people (ussualy Chief Revenue Officer) who take decissions arbitrary, not based on facts or numbers but on that day mood -lack of strategy and clear vizibility on company spends - aggresively buying cheapest services without realising impact on business- hance their huge turnover in people and products fail to perform well For potential candidates: Do not belive all b said at he interview, ask questions and read well the red flaggs.

Hi! It’s a shame that your Revolut experience didn’t work out. Companies take many approaches to procurement area and our approach may not have been the same as your experience elsewhere. We want our people to feel empowered when they come to work and we do welcome advice and feedback at every level. We’re trying to do things that haven’t been done before, so we appreciate that Revolut might not be the right place for everyone - but our people achieve a huge amount and have a lot of fun. We wish you all the best!

Uninspiring work culture

Business Outlook

Pros

Useful tools and quick decision making

Cons

Financial benefits quoted during recruitment are very hard to obtain and rely on long tenure to benefit from (very few people last long enough to see shares vest for example) Immature culture which rewards those who shout loudest and ‘get it done’. Getting things done in a sustainable/sensible way is not as important being seen to deliver. There is a perception that you will work with ‘A players’ which in my experience was simply not true, some colleagues are immature in knowledge, approach to problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Hi, thanks for your opinion. Many Revoluters find our workplace as a stimulating, rewarding and friendly environment where they are challenged and supported to do their best work. We work hard to try to make that everyone's experience. We want working at Revolut to be rewarding in every way. Our growth shares scheme was designed with the advice of external experts to be the best way we could ensure that employees could share in Revolut's future success. We're sorry Revolut didn't work out for you. Wishing you best

Pros

No proper training, no professionalism, no job security. During probation if your KPI will not meet they fired the employee without providing any 2nd chance or PIP.

Cons

Remote work and good salary
