Pros

Remote work, bi annual bonus in some roles. some extra days off given by company policy, health insurance. their own App free Metal subscription. You should only work here if you plan to take a mortgage and need good income to show for your bank. otherwise - don't

Cons

They overwork people. They now have established procedures and manuals which EU employees pretty much created and neat , and more and more focus on hiring india employees and vendors, with whom it's very hard to work. diffeent work ethic / knowledge gaps. Annual salary review policy is a joke. In performance reviews the 'high scores' are rated in points like "is able to manage and drive to success 1000 people team" no matter in what role you are you get same questionaire. so your ability to be a strong performer as an analyst is evaluated by your ability to manage teams and "projects that have company wise success impact" etc. which is a framework designed to never give good evaluations for the regular employees.- and in conclusion not to adjust salaries regardless of inflation. The work you get in a simple analyst role as junior or mid - equals to work that in other companies a senior role would be doing. Like preparing data reports, meeting managment, creating and working on additional projects. None of this will be openly disclosed in an interview, they won't even know what part of business line you will be covering as QC when you are being employed. Expected productivity target is counted as 100% on productive tasks only (if lower - it becomes a problem) this is not counting all the additional communications that require time etc. (meanwhile other companies usually count it as ~85% of the time) The pay was competitive 2 years ago when I joined. but the way how it is not adjusted, the overworking people is a legitimate open culture in the company as "they value dream team exceptional performance" etc etc. and "never settle" I wanted to find a company where I wanted to stay for many years, know people etc. but here the turnover of people is super high even though the training time is even insanely long.

Pros

Metal card Ability to work abroad

Cons

Overpromise and underdeliver is how I would characterize Revolut, particularly when it comes to their treatment of employees. A company with inconsistent internal policies and processes. While ROI is important in all businesses, there must be a balance to get the most out of your employees. Revolut does not have the ability to cultivate a healthy and competitive work environment. They are modern-day "car salesmen," selling you a work life/environment that does not exist. Revolut is not for the more seasoned sales professional looking for a exciting and new opportunity. And if you are starting out your career in sales, know there are companies out there doing it better. Overall disappointing.

Hi! Thank you for your review! Revolut has grown hugely, from a small start-up to a global business. As we are a young business, we still work on improving some of our processes to make sure we offer the best possible experience to our Revoluters. By intently listening to our employees, we've birthed new policies, such as new performance bonus (on top of existing scheme), new promotion philosophy, Birthday Leave, hybrid working arrangement, 60-day temporary working abroad flexibility, 2 extra wellbeing days, Team Engagement budgets or RevManager Hub. We value our Revoluters highly and we're trying hard to make sure that our people know that. We're sorry that your Revolut experience didn't work out. All the best!

Pros

Smart colleagues You'll get to do some interesting and challenging tasks, a decent opportunity for the beginning of your career Great product overall, you feel like you're making a difference, fast time to market Performance bonuses

Cons

Poor work-life balance No job security, be ready to get kicked out after a quarterly performance review An atmosphere of a constant competition instead of cooperation A lot of pressure from management, nobody really cares about the quality of the final product; you're going to jump from one project to another, not having enough time to build a good quality product No QA, so as a dev you'll have to do all the testing on your own Changing the performance bonus calculation scheme at the very last moment so that employees receive much less than was promised before, undermining trust No salary adjustments for years, the company completely ignores the fact that there's inflation, so be ready to see inflation eating up your salary Very hard to get promoted, extremely obscure requirements. Management might keep giving you the same grades over and over despite your efforts Employees are treated as assets, which results in high turnover. Don't expect that your loyalty to the company will be appreciated

Thank you for your feedback. It’s a shame that your Revolut experience didn’t work out. We’re proud of our ambition, and we know our goals demand a lot from people - but that should never have a negative impact on our employees. We work hard to make Revolut a great place to work and we respect people's right to a decent work life balance. We're also serious about feedback from Revoluters. By intently listening, we've birthed new policies, such as our hybrid working arrangement, 60-day temporary working abroad flexibility, 2 extra wellbeing days, Team Engagement budgets or RevManagerHub. As you are our current employee I encourage you to discuss any issues either with your manager, or function leader. We’re constantly looking to ensure that we support the people who enable us to create great products and support our customers. Wishing you all the best,
