Pros

- working from home with the option to go to the office

Cons

hit my targets by 300% every quarter, targets get doubled every quarter and then you get paid less comission as the comission structure is designed for you to hit 200% of your target. Long story short - no matter how well you do they will get rid of you.

Pros

Remote No Micromanagement Good team Get to speak to a variety of businesses

Cons

- Very hard to earn any commission - Strict probation KPI's - No territory in the UK so saturated market - Aggressive targets past probation - Job not safe after probation, if you don't perform 1 quarter you are likely out. - Revolving door of AE's being hired and fired - I joined with 40+ other AE's and most of them likely got let go or probation extended. - Very manual prospecting and no data scraping tools - No support in sales so you are an AE, CRM, Tech support and SDR - After training you have 2.5 months to onboard new clients and get them to use profitable products on the platform (e.g. an FX forward). This can be difficult so simply onboarding new businesses will not be enough and you won't make a penny. - Expected to have in depth financial knowledge in sales so you feel like a trader.

Pros

Overall for some positions the salary is actually competitive, for recruiters the performance bonus are quite high

Cons

Everything else. If you want to work here, you need to sell your soul and mental health to money. Forget about having a life or low levels of stress. The culture encourages and rewards working unpaid overtime. There are absolutely no boundaries. They'll tell you that the schedule is flexible, but they will micromanage you up until every second of your day is completely filled with meetings and calls. So there's actually no flexibility. You'll be told how to organize your calendar, and even if you reach over 100% of your KPIs, it doesn't matter, it's the time that you put in it that matters, so there's no doing less to achieve more. Absolutely toxic culture of managers, very few good ones.
