Pros

- Highly entrepreneurial with intention to succeed - Good product with high degree of innovation - Lots of smart people in the company

Cons

- CEO's approach to managing people is to micromanage them rather than trusting and empowering them leading to very high turnover rates, especially at executive level - Awful daily company politics despite claim that Revolut wants to be a company without politics - Company is constantly in crisis mode

We’re sorry to learn that you’re not enjoying all aspects of your Revolut experience, we know our goals demand a lot from people - but we never want this to have a negative impact on our employees. We would like to clarify a few points though. First off we don’t recognise your description. We recently reported Revolut’s annual results showing healthy customer and revenue growth, despite Covid. That success is enabled by trusting and empowering our people so that they can do their best and deliver the products our customers value. As part of that, we all expect to be challenged in our work - and to understand that it’s not personal. We're building products that customers use every day so we challenge each other to achieve the best outcome. You are right that we try to avoid office politics and act as one Revolut. Please do talk to HR or your manager if that's not your experience and we'll try to fix it.

Pros

Remote Work - ideal for someone who wants to work in Spain or Portugal for a few months Commission can be good if you secure an FX forwards contract Half Health Insurance, Pension.

Cons

High Attrition rate most employees last anywhere from 3 to 9 months on average. Irish SMB market is saturated with too many AEs competing over small amount of profitable prospects. Mid Market companies needed to hit target. Unachievable targets - targets have increased dramatically for 2024, big FX forward contracts required to hit target. Many AEs who have had tenures of over two years face dramatic increases which will lead many to leave the business. Managers are effectively team leads. No office culture or collaboration - you are siloed and will only see your teammates 3 or 4 times per year at company events. Hard to build relationships over Slack. No second screen - WFH allowance insufficient to cover all equipment needed Lack of sales training - almost 9 months into the role before we received sales training You can close many deals and sign up clients but if they do not spend money on their account you will not earn commission from them. Onboarding is a disaster, ticket system extremely frustrating with team in Poland who are under immense pressure and overworked.

PLEASE STOP THE TERMINATION.

Nothing is good only fear of termination

Cons

Please value your employees and your people. Please don't terminate them. They have their families to feed. They have their whole career impacted by your one-sided results of termination please give them some time to cope with your aggressive work culture or stop terminating people every time. Your employees are from the market only and if you are unfair to employees. They surely would collectively dent your market. Please respect your people as other Banks and companies do like Tide, Monzo, NatWest, Barclays, etc. If you respect your employees they respect you and work with affection. PLEASE STOP TERMINATING YOUR EMPLOYEES. THEY ARE YOUR PEOPLE. PLEASE RESPECT THEM AND THEIR FEELINGS
