Pros

Good holidays, but overworked to be able to take the leave (working till midnight day before leave and being asked for personal number to provide support when on leave)

Cons

The working conditions at the organization can be characterized by a demanding workload, where employees are expected to commit the necessary hours to fulfill their contractual obligations. You need to work whatever hours it takes to complete your role. Performance evaluations are conducted quarterly, contributing to a notable turnover rate and an ongoing sense of job insecurity. Furthermore, the setting of quarterly objectives may be subject to sudden alterations, including the addition of new tasks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on short notice, creating challenges in implementation within the given timeframe. Notably, performance ratings can be subject to unilateral modifications by department heads, often without clear justification or constructive feedback, raising concerns of favoritism within the organizational hierarchy. Depending on an employee's geographical location and tenure, a performance rating can lead to abrupt and immediate terminations during a call with their line manager and HR, resulting in an immediate cessation of access to company resources. The organizational management exhibits concerning traits, including a toxic atmosphere, where senior leaders and department heads employ fear-based leadership tactics, such as raising their voices, interrupting, and condescending behavior. This pervasive atmosphere discourages team members from voicing their opinions and collaborating effectively. Additionally, there is a noteworthy absence of acknowledgment for departing employees, as evidenced by a recent departure where colleagues expressed gratitude for the individual's contributions, while the head of the department remained conspicuously silent. The leadership within departments lacks interpersonal skills required for effective leadership and frequently lacks expertise in the areas they are tasked with overseeing. Consequently, decisions are made in contradiction to recommendations from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Lastly, the organization's practice of altering bonus schemes at the eleventh hour has resulted in disillusionment among employees who anticipated bonuses, only to have eligibility criteria changed in the same month. Communication regarding these changes is often presented in a positive light, disregarding the widespread disappointment and concerns expressed by employees regarding the timing and rationale behind such alterations.

Pros

Some say the benefits, the holidays, healthcare these are all available at other companies plus some more OTE Salary would have been good but targets unachievable so if your happy working on base with no bonus ok All staff are heavily encouraged to rate the company on external sites while in their 30 day honeymoon period at the company just before the start to notice the many things wrong in Revolut

Cons

Staff turnover: The staff turnover here is horrendous by my reckoning will be 40% attrition unlike anything I have seen in my professional career it is a revolving door industry average is 3 to 4%. I have worked in sales for 20 years and Never EVER have I seen people and employees treated with such contempt and disregard. In the company overview they say "join us to become part of this amazing adventure" The adventure will last 6-12 months at most no one I met was there longer and all had been sacked / left because they were going to be sacked. The number of times I saw someone was let go and not given enough time to develope in to their role and then a team lead/manager take over and close the deals they were about to win a few week later and be praised for what a great job they did is sickening. Overpromised and underdelivered Overpromises. Offered a job that was dissolved within 4 weeks of joining. Revolut sacked 70% of the team for no reason and the remaining 30% were forced to move to a downgraded role or else be sacked also. Was told the process of moving to the new team would be smooth but took almost 2 weeks where all those moving were left in the dark no apologies no real explanation and no strategy Was told OTE was achievable its not and also told I would be onboarded gradually which did not happen. No target relief offered while ramping on and targets are only achieved by 10% of the people in any quarter usually those who are longest in the team and benefit from the work and opportunities of those who get sacked because they were not offered a real chance to ramp up. Family life. Totally incompatible with family life the overtime and unattainable targets plus the fact that you can't make money close to the OTE that was promised is a real problem. I reiterate from another review - They have little to no support for pregnant or working mothers/ family. No organization in the company and no growth plans. People there for 2 years they are few and far between and even so they can't move from Account manager positions. Deliver Wow- the only wow currently being delivered to business customers is the wow of disappointment and for sales people the Wow I can't believe I fell for this company's lies. Never Settle - believing almost anything is possible by aiming to hire and fire every sales professional in Ireland. Get **it done - But Without any tools, book of business, Management the list goes on. Dream Team- they say they select, coach, and retain the only thing true in that sentence is they select top talent and lure them in with LIES there is no coaching or retention plan for sales people. They believe the managers are the best coaches but the good ones leave and those left and the ones I met were not capable or competent and have zero influence in the business. Think Deeper- Please do yourself a favour think deeper and do not join!!!!! ask yourself about the reviews “Is that true?” and “why?” to get to the root cause

Pros

Nice coworker to share problems and supporting with each others.

Cons

The position is called Account Executive but actually I am a Business Developer. I am in charge of create my pipeline from lead generation to onboard a new client, and this is it. I was hired for the Italian Market and when in the 2 weeks onboarding I received only information for the UK market I was astonished. I contacted so many clients before I figure it out that a lots of services and products were available on in UK instead of Italy. My manager was hired 2 weeks before me with the same onboarding, his knowledge on processes and products was less than mine. So the results in my revenue was easy to understand. The Italian team counts 80 people who reached totally 15% of the whole target and I suppose this is a clear picture of how the company has not a strategy for the sales prospect. Zero communication, zero support from anyone and last but not least so many technical problem unsolved for days, even weeks. Ex. I found a new client after so many calls and after spending hours to generate a strong pipeline, you schedule a call to onboard the client and 8 times on 10 the platform doesn’t work, even to access with a new account, or later to verify the client’s info. The worst place and managements I’ve ever had in my all professional career. I strongly recommend before to move on with the Revolut Recruiting to ask an opinion to people who already work here.
